Accord has completed an investment in Future Group, creating a new partnership between two Highland-based businesses with complementary expertise across technology and infrastructure. Together, the combined team of 90 specialists strengthens the capabilities of both businesses and enables a fully integrated end-to-end IT service - from installing fibre and cabling infrastructure through to configuring networks, deploying technology and supporting entire IT environments. Future Group recently visited the beautiful Isle of Canna to carry out a full refurbishment asbestos survey of Coroghan Barn on behalf of the National Trust for Scotland. Dating back to the late 18th century the Category B listed building, is to be redesigned into a multi-use space for events, visitor accommodation, and business use. Training day in preparation for the N23 One Fibre Network course. Engineer is loading a splitter into a medium node. The splitter is the point in the Passive Optical Network (PON) where 1 feed fibre is split into 32 outgoing fibres provided to properties. This training is required by engineers working on the Openreach Network and ensures that we are operating to current Openreach working practices and quality standards.
